Kill Command?2010-03-15Kill command is also an element of the level 70 dungeon set. If you have 4 pieces; each tiem you use your Kill Command ability, your attacks ignore 600 of your victim's armor for 15 sec. That's a pretty nice trick to have up your sleave for PvP and boss fights, provided your pet stays alive long enough to use it.-FFXI

question about dps in groups2010-03-09until you get steady shot (lvl 62 i think) all you have to do to get optimal dps is spam multishot (if possible) and arcane shot when possible.
or make use of the old 10-second shooting cycle, but i'd have to search how to do that exactly...- God Emperor of Hunters and Priest Forum Mean Person.

Wing Clip Borked?2010-03-04I'd only noticed in this run of Steamvaults I just finished a little while ago. What was stranger was, sometimes the graphic would be like normal, I'd swing and spin around, while other times it looked like I was mending pet or casting an aspect (for Night Elf, I kinda stick both arms forward as if pushing something, don't know what other races do, it might be same graphic for those abilities).
Strange. Not like it matters though, wing clip still works just fine. Just should have seen me, between pulls frantically ...

Final Fantasy - Several Tatics For PSP2009-09-25For quite a while now, Final Fantasy has been considered as one of the best RPG games there is and the series is living up to that with the newest version which is Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. Plus, it would be a vindication for the PSP as it has had games in the past that have the same non-realistic design, and it looks like FF Tactics is going to be an exception.
Not forgetting to mention that for this game, you'll be able to play two new character jobs: the Onion Knight and the Dark Knight. With the Onion Knight, you will be able to add to your strength while also compromising some of your other abilities. Meanwhile the Dark Knight will enable you to strike at your enemies and take magic points from them to increase your own. The second one is the Dark Knight, which permits you to whack your opponents; but if that isn't enough, you can always steal magic points to add up to your own and it will surely be an asset to your game.
As for the intricate plot line in Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, it has raised the experience to a whole new arena, and everything else will go smoothly. Those other jobs included in the game are quite a chal...
Hmm, Trials of Obi-Wan eh?2009-09-21Looks like the team at Sony Online Entertainment is cranking out another dismal Star Wars Galaxies add-on.
Ok, ok…
I won’t be so negative about something I haven’t researched at all. I’m sure most of you know how I feel about SOE. I’ll never buy another MMORPG from them….
They definetly know how to create a fast-loading, awe-inspiring flash webpage though…

Why virtual thefts matter2009-09-08/p>
Real thefts occur in the real world all the time - we know that, and our respective justice systems have long since evolved to deal with them.
When it comes down to virtual theft (characters, gold, or items) whether actually taken from an account or replicated by use of an exploit - most people don't really think it matters. It's not happening in the physical world, right? So it shouldn't, right? Well, it does, and here's why.
Much of the assets of many modern companies are virtual, these days. Not just trade secrets, but code, encryption keys, customer lists, payment information. No longer confined to paper and files, data of all sorts has value and there are buyers for everything.
Some fellow in a sales department somewhere might appreciate a list of contracts, deals and businesses from a distributor - particularly where they pertain to products of a competitor company. Buying that information on his own behalf can enhance his career within his own company - who may be unaware of where he's getting his edge from.
Far from being a special case, it seems almost mundane. More than one salesperson I've interviewed has brandished customer lists from their current and past jobs in the interview in an effort to negotiate a ...
Half-Life 2 Fool's Gold2009-09-04Is Half-Life 2 going gold on Monday? According to Valve, it is not.
Someone posting as as Gabe Newell announced in a
forum post on Half-Life 2 Fallout, that the game was going gold on Monday. Very brief and to the point with no details. Newell is known to post most of his community news in these forums, so there was a possibility it was a legitimate forum post. But word is that someone guessed Newell's forum password and used his account to make the post.
